If you are using "Connect to Server..." in the OS X Finder to make the FTP
connection then the inability to write to the Qube2 is a limitation of the
OS X Finder, not the Qube. For whatever reason, Apple decided not to
implement writing to FTP volumes mounted in the Finder.
Using the same "Connect to Server..." dialog with the Qube's IP address
should let you mount it via the default AFP.
