Hi Paul,

With ChiliSoftAsp you may also run .asp scripts on your raq4 and even
access databases. I have installed it on my qube3 for testing and it
runs fine. But as a friend of mine always says, Access is no database :)

Hi all

Slightly off topic but cobalt related.
I am looking for someone who also runs windoze servers for some server
space. We have a customer who is going through some changes and we are
transferring most of his existing stuff to our (raq4) servers. They
currently have 1 database which is Access driven and therefore requires
a windoze server to run on. I am looking to put their website on our
server and delegate a sub-domain to the windoze server for the database
i.e. - data.theirdomain.com > another.windoze.server.

The database is currently only small (less than 100 records) and has a
dsn less connection from an asp script with simple search facilities,
and does not get a lot of traffic. It is a museums organisation so they
are never going to be Amazon!

I am trying to outsource this to a provider that
a. understands what I want
b. will do it for a very small fee!

No other services will be required except to be a home for the database,
oh and to allow ftp transfer so we can upload the updates!

Any offers from anyone, off list if you feel this is getting
commercial!!
