Not to be nasty or anything, but they're full of it.  The fan isn't even
part of the power supply.  As Jerry wrote, the same fan is used on both
sides, and it plugs in the same way.

Your NOC is unfortunately not to be trusted with much more than the time
of day.

Buy the fans from Gerald; he's reasonably priced, the fans come quickly,
you can plug them right in without soldering or looking for connectors,
and you'll be happy <smile>.
