check this message, you will need to save the .forward under the
user directory (/home/sites/www.domain.com/users/user/)
-or-
you can pico the /etc/mail/aliases and add this line:
(if the employee user-id (pop3 user-id) is john for example).
john:[TAB]john,JohnOutsideEmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
then save the /etc/mail/aliases
and run at shell prompt:
/usr/sbin/newaliases
to re-bulid the databse.

==Original Message===
We have an employee whom is leaving our organization and during the
transition period, we would like all e-mails ³mirrored² to another
individual. Both users are in the same domain.
I have setup a .forward file in the user¹s mail folder with the format [main
user, alternate user] I have also chowned the file to root
What am I doing wrong?
