[cobalt-users] [RAQ550] PKG building

Okay, I know this has been asked before, I searched! :)

Now I read about building a RAQ550 pkg,

and I narrowed it down to a few things in my head.

x -- packing_list
   |--- (d) pkginfo
   |--- (d) RPMS

Now, what is completely not clear to me is that pkginfo directory.
I read the manual, but it's all a little vague, nothing much about this
directory...
Now, in the example pkg, I see a few files:
- /pkginfo/CVS/Root
- /pkginfo/CVS/Repository
- /pkginfo/CVS/Entries
- /pkginfo/CVS/Entries.log
- /pkginfo/locale/en/barn.mo

Now, what do I do? Just create this directory (since it's basically a tar.gz
file (with a "mark")) and create the files? The .mo looks like a binary...
How should I compile it?

Does anyone have a hint?
