[cobalt-users] CPU Temp. and Load

Today I have received an alert message at 04:20 HRS from my
quarter-hourly run script cpuinfo.sh stating that the temp was 43 C.

The Quarter Hourly Cron run at : 5, 20, 35, and 50

at 0400 HRS CPU Temp was 27 C.

I have the following crons that run and send email to root at 0400 HRS:

1. FTPLogins script that gerp any FTP access made from /var/log/access
2. EmailLogins script that grep all email logins from /var/log/maillog.
3. Maillog Script that email the entire maillog before rotation.
4. Sendmail Log Anaylazer that summarize the maillog enteries
before rotation into a readable html page on the server.
5. A Bandwidth Script that catches eth0 Tx and Rx values, comapres
it with previous saved-in-file day value and email the GB traffic difference.

plus

the CPU Temp Qaurter-Hourly Script and Log-Rotation, Logcheck
Summary, and Cobalt swatch taking place.

Is running scripts above normal, or it may lead to problems later when no.
of sites increases. Currently there are 35 domains on this Cobalt RaQ4 Server.

cpuinfo.sh setpoint is 39 C. Also I do not get any warnings other times
and the average temp is constant at 28-29 C.

Kind Regards,
