The Cobalt RaQs are non-standard hardware (custom motherboards with no
real BIOS, etc). Installing a generic OS _can_ be done, but the
trouble it will be almost doesn't make it worthwhile.
There's no reason qmail won't install on a RaQ though -- what specific
problems are you having?
You'll need to uninstall sendmail first, to avoid conflicts, and then
nothing in the UI related to mail will work properly. So you're
defeating the point of having an appliance to begin with -- better
off with a "generic" server ("white box") like Dell, IBM, or a
clone...
