Since RaQs and Qubes actually run Cobalt Linux as their OS, which is
only based on RH 6.2, there is no impact/effect at all.
Sun provides updates and support (no comments please!) for the OS on
the RaQs and Qubes, not Red Hat. That's the beauty of open source --
even if the primary provider/creator stops supporting it, anyone else
with knowledge/interest can continue to maintain.
Besides, all Cobalt products except RaQ 550 are EOL now anyway, so
released patches will be minimal and taper off from there... The 550
uses a 2.4 kernel release based on RH7.1, so is not as affected.
