Jepp ... me too ... tried to compile sendmail on a full patched Cobalt
RaQ4 but got a lot trouble
with installing the binarys ... is there anybody out there who have a
working sendmail.cf/*.mc
file for sendmail 8.12.* and some hints and tipps installing them ... I
relay would appreciate
any help ;-)

some things I stumbled are the POP-before-SMTP patch which is needed and
some advices
about could be obtained from http://www.average.org/cobalt/  where you
also get the
neccessary RPMs to install SSL POP/IMAP-before-SMTP with sendmail ...

also (thanks to "-sm") the RuleSet for sendmail.conf:
