RE: [cobalt-users] Looking for help with ASP files and Access DB

In a word Jason YES!

I have a client with a similar set up and if you can get some space on a
windoze box it is seamless to set up DSN or DSN less connections to the
access database using ASP or PHP etc.

The client keeps the master access database and just uploads via FTP
whenever they do enough changes to make it worthwhile.

I am sure it would be possible to sort out the database connections on a RAQ
(in fact I would be happy for any advice to do this also) but everyone I
asked about doing this took a sharp intake of breath and muttered things
like ... well its not as simple as you think!

So if you want a quick/easy solution then go for the windoze box would be my
advice, that's what I did and it has been working fine for 18 months now.

Cheers
Paul.
