Syslog is generally installed on all *nix machines by default. It _is_
installed on all the Cobalt boxes that I have.
Believe you simply need to decide which logging level (local[0-9]) you want
on the Cisco and configure that on the Raq in question (file
/etc/syslog.conf). Believe local7 is used by the system so you might want to
use something else...
