Hi All:
I got a strange situation going on.
I have a number of clients on 2 separate cobalt raq 4 servers who are having
their email forward to an off site msn email account. The problem is the
email is never arriving. Does anybody know if their is an issue going on
with MSN that I need to be aware of or could they be blocking my server some
how? I can send mail directly from these servers to a MSN account with no
problem. The forwarding is simply not reaching the MSN mailbox. Also there
is never a bounce message that comes back. It seems all other forwarding to
other offsite email accounts are working fine. Just not the ones to MSN.
I don't know about that, but I do know that msn makes email hard. I tried
to get a person using msn for access to receive email from my Raq, but it
would not ever get it. When I did some research I found that msn requires
that you MUST use their smtp servers and you must log in. So, you must use
either Outlook or Outlook Express so you can log in to both servers at the
same time. They also have a page that states that if they prevent you from
using email that you are less likely to get a virus. (Yes, I paraphrased).
But I couldn't believe that they said it.
