Re: [cobalt-users] NAT Traversal for VPN

If the ports are open and it's the NAT causing the problem then you can put another NAT box behind the Qube that supports VPN tunnels. And put this NAT box on another
network i.e., 192.168.100.1 for Qube and 192.168.105.1 for NEW NAT BOX.

Now your guest can see the internet and can see your Qube but can-not access any fileserver
on your network.

We have a guest in our office who needs to have access to his company's VPN. We have a Qube doing NAT and DHCP. Apparently, NAT and VPN don't mix.

Does anyone have any ideas on allowing our guest to get VPN access through the NAT setup? I've done some looking into NAT traversal, but have not found specific directions. Is it possible to do port forwarding or exclude his port from NAT or something?

Thanks in advance for any help.
