Re: [cobalt-users] Re: How do i can re install apache in cobalt raq4i

uuhhhh ... thats a mixture of both ... old and new ... baahhhhhh

ok ... here we go ...
your Apache Admin Server seems up to date that the first goal
now I think you have your Package installed and won't be able
to reinstall it the common way ... so you have to force him to do

first remove all the old stuff:

try to uninstall the damaged package

> /usr/local/sbin/cobalt_uninstall
 RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-2-15787-2.0.1-2-15787

do it by hand with:

> rpm -e apache-admsrv-1.3.20-RaQ4_1C4stackguard
> rpm -e apache-openssl-1.3.12-1C9
> rpm -e apache-openssl-1.3.20-RaQ4_1C4stackguard
> rpm -e apache-conf-shinkansen-4
> rpm -e apache-icons-pacifica-1
> rpm -e apache-devel-1.3.20-RaQ4_1C4stackguard
> rpm -e apache-1.3.20-RaQ4_1C4stackguard
> rpm -e apache-1.3.12-1C9
> rpm -e apache-mod_perl-1.3.20-RaQ4_1C4stackguard
> rpm -e apache-1.3.12-1C9
> rpm -e apache-mod_perl-1.3.12-1C9
> rpm -e apache-devel-1.3.12-1C9

try with --force if some modul try to resist like
> rpm -e moduligetridof --force

then get the package with wget

> cd /tmp
> wget
ftp://ftp.cobalt.sun.com/pub/packages/raq4/eng/RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-2-157
87.pkg

and install it

> /usr/local/sbin/cobalt_upgrade RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-2-15787.pkg

now it should do ... maybe if you aren't crashed perl or postgres also !
but there is no warranty !!

regards
