It was a bit terse/sarcastic, but I'm not offended. I've had one of those
days ... a recalcitrant Qube3 refused to take on OS Restore until I swapped
out the RAM and now its finally happy. I loaned it out for a demo and when
it was return I was advised that it "was" working, but ...

If only "it" would give me more information I might be able to help myself,
but all install/config process responds with is;

The PHP configuration on your server doesn't support the database type that
you chose.

Not terribly helpful.
Hence I'm back to basics. Does MySQL, PHP, and Apache work together on the
Qube3? Do I have a mysql database which phpbb can use? Have I established
a database user with access to the database and can create/manipulate
tables? etc etc
Cheers, Malcolm
