[cobalt-users] Qube 3 Printing to HP990Cxi

Sorry for the repost, but I've had trouble again receiving posts from the
list.

I connected an HP 990Cxi to a Qube 3 via the USB port and set it up
through the GUI as mentioned on the Sun forum. In the Qube 3 GUI under
Manage Printers it shows the printer as being disabled and also spooling
disabled and 0 print jobs. When I try to print to it from a Windows computer
it tells me in the printer dialog box "Access denied, unable to connect". I
have seen another person that used an HP 990Cxi, so I'm hoping it's not that
the printer is incompatible. Print languages are HP PCL 3 enhanced, Mac
QuickDraw.  I've tried multiple USB cables and even another printer (Lexmark
Z52),
but still get the same result.  It looks like the Qube is not connecting to
the printer via the USB port.
What can I do to test the USB port? What else can I try, any suggestions?
