[cobalt-users] Raq4: FTP dropout issue

Hi

I'm running a RaQ4 with SafeTP on port 21, with unencrypted proftpd on port
351.  Lately I've been having problems retrieving files from either port.

I can log in without a problem, list directories, upload, create
directories, change permissions etc etc with no problems whatsoever, but as
soon as I attempt to retrieve a file (regardless of size) the connection
slows down to between 10 and 80 bytes / second, and more than 50% of the
time the connection will drop before the file download completes.

This has been happening for approximately the past week.  I believe it's
specifically ftp-related, because I am experiencing no other bandwidth
issues on any other protocol (with the exception of occasional interruptions
in SSH sessions).

Has anybody experienced this issue before?
