[cobalt-users] How can i create a "CNAME" AKA"CLINE" please help

I want to create a CNAME (CLINE) for a domain name hosted on my server
(mydomain.com) to another Server; my idea is to do a virtual domain
linkage for IRC.

To be exact, to point irc.blabla.com to irc.anotherserver.com

In some other way:

irc.mydomain.com == irc.server.com (org, net)

I was at the DNS server settings, and added the cline this way:

Modify Alias (CNAME) Record 

 Alias Record Entry
  
 Alias Host Name: irc
 Alias Domain Name: mydomain.com
 Target Host Name: irc
 Target Domain Name: Server.org

------------------------------

Here is something wrong?
