[cobalt-users] [raq3] quota exceeted when writing mail (when user has enough space left)

hi
I have a user who cant recive mails because quota denies him to write to
/var/spool/mail/username

sender of the mail recives this:
    ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
 <hostmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

    ----- Transcript of session follows -----
 procmail: Quota exceeded while writing "/var/spool/mail/pcpartner"
 procmail: Quota exceeded while writing "/var/spool/mail/pcpartner"
 550 <hostmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxx>... Can't create output



quota for the user says:

Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   
/dev/hda4       9   50601   50600               5       0       0       


and for the group:
Disk quotas for group site67 (gid 179): 
Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit  
/dev/hda4  526004*  50601   50600    none    2898       0       0   


any idea of why this happens. ?
