What did the scrubbing entail?  The OS restore process formats the drive and
creates the partitions.

Such as?  Post it here and maybe we can help.

Did the md5sum match that listed?

Interesting.  Anything odd in /var/log/messages?  If so please post the
relevant lines.

Was there problems with the server before you began this process?  If you
have another 3i or 4i and pull the drive from it and place in this box what
happens?
