If you haven't already heard, the Plesk Advanced Technology Group has
announced a slick new technology service. As I understand it, they can
now *_remotely_* update a Cobalt RaQ 3 or RaQ 4 and make it a Red Hat
7.3 white box with or without PSA.

Basically for $150 bucks (OS only) or for only $99 dollars with the
purchase of a PSA license, you can have your RaQ server completely
cleaned and running an updated more secure OS. Once the system is
upgraded Plesk will perform a free installation of PSA if you purchase
any new license.

The nice thing about this is the performance increases we noticed
immediately on the system. Not only is it more secure but it can
actually handle more customers than before with less of a load on the
system. So if any of you are trying to figure out what you are going to
do with those old Cobalt RaQs, this is a nice option to get the most out
of your old systems. Plesk of course, also offers migration services for
active servers running on a number of other control panels including
Cobalt (http://www.plesk.com/Product/PME/main.php).
