[cobalt-users] Redirection of urls from Static link to dynamic link

Hi to all


    Recently we have installed phpnuke for few of our
sites just for make the site dynamic. Due to this
reason we need atleast 3000 urls to redirect/site and
it is in different directories of the site. For the
time being we are modifying the .htaccess file
and redirecting the urls for one site , but we need a
permanent solution.
    If we write one apache module to handle the change
in urls - is it a right direction?
    If so then how it has tobe written ? and compile
and set to our httpd.conf file? Can anybody give me
idea? Though i am going through few books but not
getting a real practical scenario....My knowledge
in apache is also not vast to understand each and
everything. 
    If anybody thinks that new module is not the right
direction then can u please tell me how can i handle
the huge redirection for so many sites?

    Please help me out...
