Would it be the way that my server has DNS setup? I did not use the Qube3's
GUI interface for DNS, I edited the files manually...
Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Nope, that's the exact same content as my server, which gives a
greeting of:
[bruce@jade bruce]$ telnet qube 25
