Problems continue.

I've got under site settings as an email server alias "nomealaska.org". 
Host is www, domain is nomealaska.org.

When I create a user in a virtual site, the user and all the user's 
email aliases are listed in the virusertable as
username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, plus aliasesforusername@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 
Is this standard? I cannot receive email for these user accounts unless 
I manually go into the vtable and add username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx  (without 
the www). Otherwise I get the a message in maillog stating that 
mailer=esmtp, relay=www.nomealaska.org, stat=deferred: connection reset 
by www.nomealaska.org.

For the usernames I added an alias in the vtable without the www, there 
is this message: mailer=local, stat=sent, and the accounts receive the 
message.

Seems people say that I shouldn't need to edit the vtable and I hope to 
agree. So any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem? Or what might I 
be doing wrong?

Under control panel/ email parameters, I have nothing in the relay box 
and nothing in the host/domains box (Raq4r).
