Um... your /var partition is getting full...? :)
You've probably got some large logfiles that haven't rotated properly,
or some big .gz compressed already-rotated log archives.
Shell in as admin, "su -" to become root, then "cd /var; ls -alF"
Look for big files you don't need and blow them away.
At only 74% full, though, you shouldn't be getting this message...?
