[cobalt-users] WEIRD?! Rom flash failure?

Hi,

Ok, STRANGE problem...
I helped someone out with a RAQ4i, flashing the ROM BIOS.

Now, I did it like described, and I have done this before...
I backed up the original ROM fist... Then wrote the new one...
This was done succesful.
Then, just to make sure, I REBOOTED the RAQ... The RAQ went down, and came
back online!! So... It was succesful...
Now... My friend here then took down the RAQ4 thru the LCD panel (shutdown),
and then plugged it in for an OS Restore. He powered on, the LCD was lit,
and there were a few gray blocks, only on the 1st line of the LCD.

That's where it stops...
Nothing further... Com ports seem dead, LAN ports seem dead...
What is this? I mean, it DID write the BIOS succesfully, and it REBOOTED
succesfully...
Cause if I reboot, it takes of power and reads the BIOS, so if it failed
(the flashing), it HAD to go wrong with the FIRST REBOOT...

Any input very much appreciated...
