It is. You just have to know a lot about Linux, how it boots etc.. And you
need to have the patience and the desire to do something that is utterly
silly. In any case, it's a great tool for testing security exploits and
developing software on the Cobalt platform. As I said before, it is much
faster to compile stuff on a 2Ghz box running in Vmware than in a 350 or
350 meg Raq unit. Plus, you can experiment with adding stuff to the unit
and see what breaks without fear of blowing up your production boxes.
