By topic it could go on hosting-biz, by activity/list software, it could
go on Cobaltfacts.

I've tried a few of the open source/low cost packages...they are, for one
reason or another, terrible.

Just threw out Quickbooks, since their idea of emailing an invoice is to
charge be 14.95 a month to send email invoices through their system. I may
not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I am not dull enough to get
raped by yet another vendor who wants to own part of my business.

May have found something that not only works, can really send invoices and
statements via email and costs less than a server...but it doesn't run on
a server, the users can't access it via the web, etc.....just a POSA(Plain
Old Simple Application).

If I can get it to actually invoice customers, do automatic billing and
handle payments with oiut having my customers laugh at me again for
attempting to invoice them, I'll let folks know more.

And from their webpage, one thing that rings my bell:
Our software developer ( Bob Czopek ) is a system engineer with over 20
years of hands on MIS experience.....and no mention of any
accounting/business expereince.
