The list was down so long I can answer my own
question. it's the options directive
FollowSymLinksIfOwnerMatch getting in the way.
The manual says the path to the websites is still
/home/sites/www.domainname.com/web - but now I'm
wondering how that could possibly work for perl
scripts and similar while that option is set?
I'm also wondering if all those raq4s with just
FollowSymLinks set have a security hole.
