yup, www.mysiteA.co.uk - exists and has been running for ages. Has its own 
mail, ftp etc.

been more than that now, I did it on friday morning.

www.mysiteA.co.uk - desired site is displayed in browser
xyz.mysiteB.co.uk - Cannot find server or DNS Error - IE 6

yup!

In the DNS Settings menu on the Raq4 I have existing for mydomain.co.uk
- mydomain.co.uk -> IP1
- mail.mydomain.co.uk -> IP1
- ns.mydomain.co.uk -> IP1
- ns2.mydomain.co.uk -> IP3 - different box
- * xyz.mydomain.co.uk -> IP1
- secure.mydomain.co.uk -> IP2 - same box
- www.mydomain.co.uk -> IP1

The sub domain xyz.mydomain.co.uk does not appear in the drop-down list of 
virtual sites when it comes to adding DNS settings. I *presumed* that it is 
added here. If i have made a mistake it is probably here!

Only need the basics - Web and FTP.

would like to have xyz.mysiteA.co.uk handle its own mail but it is far from 
neccessary.
