The Ensim product doesn't seem to need any changes at all... We don't
know yet about the Plesk.
> What warranty/support will be offered?
I can't tell you much yet. Plesk has said they won't support it, but
that's now. I imagine if they see a market they will In any event, if
we market it, we'll support it.
> Any migration for production servers?
Do you mean migration of a working server, or migration from one Cobalt
server to Plesk running on another server?
Migration from one server to another is a product offered by Plesk; I
can't speak for Ensim; I don't know.
Migration from one panel to another on a working server seems to be
quite complex; Plesk offered it for a while as custom work, but they've
stopped.
I wish I had a better answer, but I don't <frown>.
> Oh, prices?
Neither company is going to change their pricing. If we decide to sell
the product we'll probably install it at at the same rates we charge
now. (Hint: we don't charge for it now; we offer it as a no-cost
service when we sell Plesk.) However, since the installation requires
the drive be installed on a standard Linux box rather than a RaQ during
the install, we'll probably do it here; sort of a "send us the drive and
we'll send it back with the software on it". We'd probably recommend a
new drive for the installation.

I haven't decided yet if I'll sell it. We currently sell only services
and software for electronic delivery; it's a sales tax thing <smile>.
If/when it's ready I'll announce it here <smile> if here still exists;
during the last two days that's been a source of curiosity.
