Subject: [cobalt-users] PHP 4.06 Update
Hi,
Is it safe to update the standard php installation from v4.06 on a Raq5?
Thanks
Mark

Mark,
Yes & No ... You have to install it into a separate directory. The reason
why is that the admin portion uses PHP w/ the CCE stuff enabled (CCE =
Cobalt
stuff). So, if you try to upgrade across the board, you break your admin
side!
http://www.edison.ca/cobalt/ has a pkg for 4.2.3 ... Other people sell a
4.3.0
install ... www.solarspeed.com has one, www.nuonce.net has one ... and I am
sure
a few other people do also.
Thanks,
Brian
