Sure. We've even done it. Mostly it works, but there are some
gotchas. We had to redo some FP extensions, and DNS has to be specially
handled...

If you're changing everything then you might as well do it manually.
The 550s don't use the "records" file, but there's a DNS import utility;
search the list archives for "DNS Import" without the quotes and you
should find it. Even if you're going to change the IP numbers it might
be easier to do search/replace on the records file from the old RaQ4,
and then import the file.
Also, if you're going to restore to the RaQ550 you have to use the
latest beta for CMU on the RaQ4 as well. You get them at the same place
as you get CMU for the 550; if you don't remember where (I don't
<frown>) search the archives for this list.
