Thx i now can connect to the database but can´t create one with
createdb.
It tells me no entry in pg_hba.conf for localhost.
Do i have to edit that file and is it save to do so?
If anyone has a link for some howto or other docs for doing so on a raq3
i would appreciate.

Yep, just don't touch the 'cobalt' database!
And the password is in /etc/cobalt/.meta.id
