Purely out of interest (cause I'm a newbie learning lots:) - doesn't the Qube3 backup generate a set of .tar files (uncompressed), 1) why wasn't it set up to compress the backups originally? 2) isn't there an option when creating .tar files to limit them to a certain size and create a set of numbered files (eg backup001.tar, backup002.tar....) - so knowing of the 2GB limit, why wasn't the qube set up to create multiple files?
Thanks for the education:)Steve
