I've done it here a couple of times. It took us about 10 perhaps
15 minutes per site. The sites are not difficult at all to move. We
simply put them in /home/sites/ just as they were on the Cobalt RAQ3 we
took them off. Setting up the email and user accounts is what eats up
the time.
With RedHat's recently announced short end of life cycle I'd
submit that Red Hat would be a bad choice to migrate to unless, of
course, you purchase Red Hat's Advanced Server distribution. I just
purchased a Red Hat 8.0 boxed set - it comes with an Apache/PHP setup
which simply isn't suitable for production use so, for an Internet
server without using Red Hat Advanced Server, one of the earlier
distributions would probably be a better choice though that short life
cycle is also a consideration on a production server.
Hope this helps,
Brent
