I have a RaQ XTR and just compiles squid - which doesn't come with the XTRs, but is a program I need. What do I have to do to write and use my /etc/rc.d/init.d/squid file so that my squid process can:
1. Start up after the machine reboots
2. Be managed by chkconfig
3. Be managed by root using the /etc/rc.d/init.d/squid file
I copied and modified one from another system but it doesn't seem to
work at all. I thought I might have missed something.
