Bruce, sorry to disagree but I believe you're wrong here. If you drop in a
450/475 it will run at 300MHz as the socket is set to 3x100. You must jump
pins in the CPU socket to get 5x100.

I won't dispute what the manufacturer reports, but my own experience with
dozens of 500Mhz upgrades has been nothing but completely succesful.
Mike, the only CPU upgrade option is 500Mhz. I would NOT overclock a 450 or
475 Mhz CPU to 500Mhz, instead buy a 500,533, or 550 Mhz CPU and underclock
it to 500.
