Be aware that some of the earliest 2700 models did not allow for an OS
Restore like all the rest of the appliances. If you do have one of
those (and you'll be able to tell as there's no "boot from net"
option on the LCD when you follow the MIPS OSRestore directions),
you'll have to put the drive in a Qube2 first, build it, and then put
the drive back in the 2700.
I don't think too many of the non-restorable systems made it out into
the real world, but you never know... (they were long EOL'd when I
started at Cobalt, so I never got to play with one myself... started
with the Qube 2 and RaQ 2...) I know that Jeff Lasman had some
experience with those systems early on; maybe he can add $0.02 to the
suggestion list...?
