If I recall correctly, the list_upgrades script yielded an error
message stating that the directory (/var/lib/cobalt) couldn't be
located....that what prompted me to "re-create" the directory....oddest
thing, what with all the persimmsions being correct....but I think you
may be on to something about the first .md5lst file.....
