Re: [cobalt-users] Mailing Lists on RaQ 550

I have a Cobalt RaQ 550 (I just upgraded from a RaQ4) and I was wondering if
there is a way to remove the mailing list name in the subject line.

It now puts a [support] or whatever the mailing list name is in the subject.

If anyone knows how to remove this, your expertise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Terry

Look in /usr/local/majordomo/www.domain.com/lists/domain.config

There is a line in there called subject_prefix which should be blank

        # subject_prefix [word] (undef) <resend>
        # This word will be prefixed to the subject line, if it is not
# already in the subject. The text is expanded before being used. # The following expansion tokens are defined: $LIST - the name of
        # the current list, $SENDER - the sender as taken from the from
        # line, $VERSION, the version of majordomo.
subject_prefix =
