Good day all,
Are there any hidden problems with loading a 60 gig drive into a RaQ4?
I duped a 10 gig RaQ4 drive to a 60 gig tonight (Powerquest's drivecopy is
magic) and it booted fine with correctly reported partition sizes but I
seem to recall a ~30 gig limitation being mentioned for this old RedHat
Kernel.
[admin admin]$ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 5.5G 586M 4.7G 11% /
/dev/hda3 1.1G 26M 1.0G 2% /var
/dev/hda4 46G 2.1G 42G 5% /home
(Yes, I know these are not optimal partition sizes but DC inflates them
proportionately, "Partition Magic" can be used to resize them later.)
The machine has all current patches (except SHP :)
If there are no known problems with this, what then is the maximum hard
drive size for a RaQ4?
Thanks!
- Bill B.
