installed it.
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd start
Thanks, been looking for that - I use Telnet, but I'm behind the firewall already that doesn't let telnet through at all, so getting this running will give me more flexibility.
So I don't have to reconfig my firewall for another port opening, is there a way to change the port that ssh will use? I use putty on the client side. I don't mind looking though help files - any clue which one below (if any) will be the best place to start for this particular issue? (that will save me a little time anyway, unless a simple answer gets posted :)

Have a great new years everyone ... with a fresh foot of snow I'm hoping to ski more than I work over the next few days, but that is always wishful thinking :)
