Hello John,
Thanks, that was a very interesting exercise.


But it did not solve my problem of having a user that doesn't show up
in the GUI.

I added the -V option to the meta-verify and watched the extra info go
by.

I notice that my troublesome user was attached to site9, which no
longer exists.

Since the server will reuse site numbers, I created new virtual sites
until I had one the was given site9.

Then I went to the gui for the site that was assigned site9, and
VIOLA! there he was in all his glory, so I deleted him!

Then I deleted all the virtual sites needed to get me to site9, and
re-added him where he belongs!  All is well now, I'll sleep
tonight.....
