[cobalt-users] spamd is being stoppped

Hi 

   I am running spamd under cobalt raq4. Few days back
i have placed one question that under some condition
the spamd is being stopped, and i was unable to find
it out. After going through few days , I found that
whenever the load on our server is too high, then the
spamd process is automatically killed. But the strange
matter is , i never mentioned anywhere to kill this
process. 
   The same i noticed today when my server was under
high load and the load jumps suddenly from 35 to 69.
To control the load i killed the httpd processes and
while going to check the spamd, i found that the
process is not running. Then i checked the
/var/log/maillog file. I found two entries this is as
follows:

Dec 24 01:10:11 server spamd[29865]: cannot write to
/etc/httpd/.spamassassin/us
er_prefs: Permission denied at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Mail/SpamAssassin.
pm line 803, <STDIN> chunk 2.
Dec 24 01:10:11 server spamd[29865]: Failed to create
user preferences file: Per
mission denied "/etc/httpd/.spamassassin/user_prefs"
from default "/usr/share/sp
amassassin/user_prefs.template".

The spamassassin with spamc/spamd, I installed site
wise. So I am little bit confused of the whole
circumstances. If anybody can help me out that will be
really helpful to me. I am not understanding why spamd
is getting stopped on its own and why these type of
messages is coming? Is there anything wrong at the
installation stage?
