Since we're going to be getting this daily (probably) until January 6, 
those who might not want to read it daily could try this to reduce holiday 
stress:

...in their .procmailrc. (The second line matches all mail coming through 
this list; the third only matches the address of the broken vacation 
message, so it will not apply to other list mail. Therefore, Mr. Linch 
should still be able to send you off-list email. The fourth line can be 
altered to a mailbox if you don't feel like trashing repetitive vacation 
messages sent to a discussion list.)

Of course, we'll remember to remove this on 6 January, right?
