Thanks, I already caught this posting searching the
archive, plus a few others relating to various
problems running htaccess files on the RAQ550, but
it's all now defunct information and doesn't work. Any
reference to Auth_Pam_enabled in a htaccess file will
bum out immediately because they've removed it.
Nothing works anymore, and the KB confirms
authenticating against the system user file can no
longer be done. Only the AuthUserFile method will work
and I can't see any straightforward method of using
that option with things like webalizer, etc.

As the 550 I have was fully patched before I got it
recently, I'm unsure exactly which update has done the
dirty deed, but this is what's installed.
