Silicone spray, use a straw and direct the jet directly into the inner circle 
of the fan where the  magnetic housings are, or take the fan apart by 
removing from the Qube, peel off the sticker on the fan, and direct the 
silicone spray directly onto the spindle of the fan. You should get an 
immediate difference in noise!
(BTW: this is also good for faulty RaQ fans, gets them going again)
