I've just checked my version of Bind...
[admin@ns admin]$ /usr/sbin/named -v
named 8.2.3-REL Tue Sep 18 12:35:18 PDT 2001
root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/home/redhat/BUILD/bind-8.2.3/src/bin/named
Now the question is I already had RaQ34-Solarspeed.net-Bind Release 8.3.3-2
running, has this OS Update taken over from what I had?
Is it as secure and does it protect bind from the security issues not that
long ago?
Can I reapply the Solarspeed version if need be?
Regards
Chae
