Hi Yah,

Right I bite the bullet and just did a reboot from the GUI and watched top 
while it did that...seemed okay to me - but that do I know ;)

Anyway doesn't seem to be any problems, server can be reached via all 
services though in the hourly logfiles we still see...

Would this be a duplicate entry in the proftpd config file?

The cannot bind xxx IP's are IP's allocated to the server

And the 2nd Sun Cobalt patch installed okay
